Good Recipe books
Hey guys, I hope you're having a good day!
I'm going away to uni again in September and I really want some decent cookery books to take with me. Does anyone have any recommendations at all? I'll try any food and I love experimenting in the kitchen so any suggestions welcome!! |

Delia Smith? Jamie Oliver? It might be a good idea to just go into a bookstore and look at their selection of books and flick through them. That way you can see which ones have good recipes and then just choose one :)

When I went to uni my mum bought me 'Sam Stern's Student Cookbook'. To be honest I was a bit put off by the fact that it was actually a 'student' cookbook. I know that might sound a little odd, but there was just something about it that I wasn't sure of but it's actually really good! It's got loads of different things in it; from breakfasts, to sandwich ideas, parts to make up a full meal [i.e. a Mexican, Indian etc] and deserts. It's simple to follow as well. She picked it up from The Works - I don't know if you've heard of it, but it sells really cheap books, and does great offers so it's worth looking there :)

sandra lees cook books. so many good things in there
if you watch her food network show she does alot form there but also had new things. they are cheep and easy and healthy. |

Jamie oliver ftw (Y) I have Jamie at home and its amazing. It has really good recipes in and they're sorted by season so they all use seasonal produce which is cheaper =]
