Ihave no idea on how to apply to college and dont know who to ask for help *) Also i dont know wether to go to college in my home town or travel for 2 hours a day to get to and from college. Any advice is greatly appreciated, Thank-you

Re: Applying for college

I'm not as familiar with the UK system, but I'll do what I can to help. =)

As far as the commute goes, is it 2 hours total? Or 2 hours each way? I used to commute 3 hours each way for school, and let me tell you... that was EXHAUSTING! If it's 2 hours total, then I don't feel that's a big deal. If it's 2 hours each way, though, then I strongly suggest you have a backup plan in case the commute becomes too much to handle. I ended up doing the commute for one semester, then moved closer to campus. You may want to do something similar, so be sure you have the financial means to move if need be.

I imagine your school has an academic advisor of some sort, so why not start by talking to them? If you don't know who that is, ask a teacher or administrator to direct you toward someone who would know how to help you get started on the college selection/admission process.
