Got accepted into college!
 
Woo!

I got a letter from the University of Saint Joseph today saying I was accepted into their school. :D

Still waiting on one other school to mail me back, but I have been accepted to college, yay! ^_^ So happy the application process is done and that I know I will at least have somewhere to go.

I'm really proud of myself for getting in, the wait is so scary! D:

Things are coming together for the moment. :)

Wow - Congratulations Dez! You most certainly deserve the opportunity to go to college, and I'm sure you'll love it once you get there!

Thanks, everyone!

I came back from volunteering and my mom was like "You have a letter waiting for you from Saint Joseph," and she even made me wait until my sister came upstairs to open it, and I was sitting there like, "What if you are all watching me get rejected?! Or what if this is just some random letter?"

But no, it was an acceptance. My sister cried a little. :nosweat:

Congratulations, Dez! That's great news and you should be really proud of yourself. I remember the first college acceptance letter that I got and it's definitely an awesome feeling. :)

I only applied for the two. :bleh:

I didn't get a letter or email from Southern yet which makes me slightly nervous, BUT the way I found out was through the whole "check admission status" thing that we can go into to see where they are on the application. It gives a status like not complete, or ready for review, or whatever. Mine said: Decided.
Then underneath that, it said Accept.

SO unless there's some deeper meaning to it, yeah I'm accepted. :D

I just want my letter!! D:

Well now I'm embarrassed. XD But if you did apply to more than two, you'd probably get accepted to all of them! You're right though, it does sound like you are accepted. I can imagine why you'd want the official letter though. It must be exciting, like jump and scream and kiss a random person getting their mail excited. :dem:

Yeah, I got more excited about getting into Southern than I did Saint Joseph, but we'll see where I end up once I get my official letter or email.

My sister said she knows someone who started going there last year, and she got her acceptance notification through email on Christmas Eve. Wouldn't that be awesome? D:

Congratulations, Dez!!! :hug: I'm so glad you were accepted for both universities, AND that you found out so quickly! (When I applied for undergrad and grad, I had to wait until March/April to hear back from universities.)
