School

Jesus fucking Christ people, sort your things out. Not only is my school incredibly unorganized, it's teachers don't even read the bio of their students! One day we miss an hour, that's fine, OH WAIT, THE DAY BEFORE THE DAY THAT WE MISS THE HOUR, IT IS SUDDENLY CHANGED BACK. I mean, what the fuck, guys? Today is the last day of our 2 week newyears holiday, and instantly we have a test on Thursday, Wednesday and TWO on Friday! I mean, give us a break! I know we had a holiday, but last week was mostly spent studying for all those tests. I got super stressed out yesterday, had 2 panic attacks, and my parents became angry at eachother because of it. THIS MORNING I HAD ANOTHER PANIC ATTACK FROM JUST THINKING ABOUT THE TESTS. Why do we even go to school? Why should we go to a stress-factory 5 days a week? The entire system looks good on paper, but in reality it's terrible. You have to deal with 10 tests per subject IN ONE PERIOD. Beside the fact that some teachers are just plain bas at teaching. And don't forget that many kids ALSO have to deal with bullying everyday! The only thing that keeps my emotions slightly stable is the internet and my best friend. Don't get me wrong, I love learning and the idea of school, but the way the idea is in reality doesn't work as well as you would think.

I am glad that when I went to high school, I didn't really care enough to dedicate myself to unnecessary stress. It is life. Although college was unnecessary stressful during nursing school due to the culture of nursing school.

Just wait until you get to college. You think it's frustrating now? Just you wait.
I'm a junior in college right now. I've had teachers who didn't know how to spell words, couldn't do simple addition, and lacked common sense. The only reason they weren't fired is that they were on tenure (once a professor works a certain number of years, they are immune to the college firing them). The trick is learning how to put up with it all. It's not so bad when you really sit and think about it. Yeah, it must be annoying. I feel for you. You'll get through it.

Dude, same exact thing happened to me last week. I stayed up literally all of Thursday night trying to study and finish projects and stuff, just for teachers to scream at us and tell us how worthless and shitty we were. Yeah, it sucks. But it's not like we can really change it, and its only going to get worse, so just deal with it, I guess.

I hated high school, so I understand how you feel. It doesn't last forever though. In terms of panic attacks, perhaps you could work on your anxiety to try and reduce them. I know school is an inherently stressful environment but there are things you can do to help keep you calmer. Are you ever allowed to use headphones? I wasn't allowed them in class, but in the hallways between lessons I always had music in and that helped me block out a bit of the chaos going on around me.
