Websites like Project 365?
Hello guys!
I was just wondering if anybody knows a website like Project 365? For those who don't know what Project 365 is, it's a website that challenges you to post a picture everyday for a whole year. Not many people succeed for obvious reasons as things pop up which could break their streak. Those who do, however, end up with breathtaking albums which highlight their feelings, interests, or w/e for 365 straight days (a year). I'm not really a take a picture and post it everyday kinda guy but I really like the idea of doing something everyday for a year. Does anybody know of any websites similar to this? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! :bleh: |

Wordpress.com: One of the five most popular blogging service as of today, all you need to do is sign up and post away. With its huge community, you can rest assure that your blog will have readers. Among those listed here, Wordpress.com and Tumblr are the easiest places to get your blog read by strangers without you doing any self-promotion. Self-host blog: Wordpress.org is where you can download the Wordpress software to host your own Wordpress blog somewhere. If you aren't familiar with web development, then go check Wordpress.com out instead. Wordpress is the most popular CMS as of today. You can create blog, portfolio, photo gallery, small forum or social network, etc., with Wordpress software. Blogger: Arguably the biggest competitor of Wordpress, Blogger is part of Google and completely free. Unfortunately, like a self-host blog, Blogger doesn't assist you much in terms of driving readers to your blog. You're pretty much on your own. Tumblr: Quite popular among teenagers, Tumblr is more of a micro-blogging service than a full-fledged blogging platform like Wordpress. It makes very easy and convenient to submit short posts, like pictures, audios, videos, or just plain text. Path: Relatively new, Path is a similar service to Twitter, except that Path allows you to post video and pictures besides text, and is more private. It has only started to gain popularity in mid-January of this year. To understand Path more, you can watch the two videos on its home page. |
