getting a tattoo.. help?

Something similar to either one of these pictures above.. the thing is I am stuck on what quote to get.. I've come up with a list but cant choose between them . Which do you think is best? Or do you have any others to suggest ? I like some of them, but honestly I have a very strong feeling that if you're going to put something permanent on your body you should be in control and 100% sure about what it is that you're putting on. I know you ultimately do have the control around that, but it just doesn't sit well to give you suggestions.. especially as someone who DOES have a literary tattoo. Because even though I love the words on my body, I love them a little bit less than when I got them tattooed on. :p And I can only imagine that if others had influenced my tattoo decision that that would be more true.

I also like "She flies with her own wings", but as the others have said, this isn't something WE should be deciding on. Tattoo's take time and planning, and it's a good thing you've stuck with a decision to wait until you know for sure. Regretting a tattoo wouldn't be the best idea because...well, they're permanent, and it's very costly (and painful!) to have them removed. Keep on thinking, and make a decision you know you won't regret in the long run.

I agree with Jas, a tattoo is something you and you alone need to decide on.
You can do what my sister does, grab a sharpee and write the quotes you like most on yourself to get a feel for it. I think especially with quotes if you're not 100% certain and set on a certain one give yourself more time to think about it. My sister has a quote on the back of her neck that she regrets now (I kept telling her she would xD ), people change and quotes can be very personal. You have to think of which ones you'll still like in the future, what you wouldn't mind people reading on you all the time, if you'll want to expand on it later with a picture or not. Ultimately it has to be your choice though. |

Don't know why but that gave me shivers down my spine. :D I mean it is very, very meaningful. It makes me think about life and about how lucky person I am to stand out in the crowd and.. I just love the quote^^ |

I like 'And life goes on...'. It's simple and has a big impact. You could style it out with a little heart or butterfly or something too.
But 'She flies with her own wings' would also be really pretty and is quite relevant I'm guessing. The longer ones are probably going to be very painful and costly, so it's best to stay short and simple :) |
