I'm happy because I did very well (and, crucially, better than other people) on my English test. This is the first time in two years (really? as far as I can remember, even though it seems odd) I've been happy for a reason not having to do with the giddy-happy feeling I get around men on whom I have crushes.

I'm happy today because, however much I dislike aspects of my school, I made the correct decision in coming here. I've just realized that, a year and a month into this experience. Maybe I'll be miserable anywhere; maybe I'm hideous; maybe life isn't all that great. But I made the right decision. And there are moments of light and happiness every day now. I'm tired of focusing on how much is wrong with who I am. This is not who I meant to be, but so what? I'm warm, dry, and smoking, so to speak. The rest is just fringe*.
*(I can't think of a better word than "fringe". I don't want to use "icing" or "gravy". If someone has a word, please send it to me) |

I am happy today because it is very sunny and warm (I always feel good when It is sunny), I'm at my boyfriends house, and he really cares about me, and I just had the best pizza sandwich ever.

I'm happy today because my girlfriend's moving closer to meh :D. We've been in a long-distance relationship for about 2 months, and her parents are now getting a divorice (not happy about that part), and she's moving in with her grandmother, who lives only around 20 mins. from my house :cheer:
