I had a day off today! It was really nice to get a break. Only a few months and July will be here and I'll get five days off :D

I got all of the things I needed to do today done. New books, new jeans, and I got to spend a couple of hours with my mum when she finished work. :)

I've been organising a trip as part of a future career to take part in an event some time back. Yesterday was the day I had to go for the event which meant quite literally travelling from one side of the country to the other.
I organised everything myself. The train journeys, booking my hotel room, travelling to and from the event. Sight-seeing and the day in general, all the way to organising my return back to university. It's the furthest I've ever been from home, and the first time I'd ever organised such a long-distance trip, especially alone. I thoroughly enjoyed my time away and I feel so refreshed and happy from it. :D |

I went on an Alestorm gig and it was sooo awesome. Not that I had expected anything other than awesome from one of my favourite bands, though. I absolutely loved the show and I miss them already. Such moments are when I feel I can be myself because I'm among metalheads.

Not sure if I'd describe it as "happy", but I'm feeling better than I lately have, aside from being tired.
Maybe I'm starting to regain my footing, and no longer need meds to just stay afloat? |

I managed to read a good amount today to try and get out of my slump, and I also had nothing to do so didn't get out of my PJs all day :D

I just poledanced in front of a girl I like. I'd say my odds are low but I actually poledanced. I poledanced shirtless at a club on gay night.
I used to hate myself. I was depressed for three years. I used to go on this site and complain about my problems like 3 days a week. Its like Im a totally different person now. |

Manager agreed to increase back to my maximum hours to offset the pay cut and it doesn't involve 8-hour weekend days!

I really wanted a fitness book with a lot of pictures and different exercises in. When I went somewhere with a friend yesterday I found one that was really interesting, and my friend went and bought it me as an advanced birthday gift. I've been really glued to it since, except my dissertation report has me torn between wanting to read it and the responsibility of doing my actual work.
