What Makes You Smile?
Hello there!
According to our lovely TeenHelp calendar, tomorrow is "Make a list of what makes you smile" day! Among everything going on in the world, December can be a particularly rough month for many people. It can be really helpful and therapeutic to reflect on things that bring us joy. It may also be helpful to share those things with others. We would love to hear what makes you smile! My list includes: ~Taking the first sip of coffee in the morning ~Long car rides ~Florence and the Machine ~Completing a homework assignment ~Video games ~Spending any amount of time with my child ~When my child says new words or learns new skills ~Trying out a new recipe and it be successful ~The holidays ~Helping people ~Alone time ~Binging Netflix Your turn! :) |

Prior to breakfast tea in bed, that first espresso
And a second one Followed by bacon and eggs, stovies and more coffee. And a cigarette. When in Paris, a few steps from our maison to Poilâne à 8 rue du Cherche-Midi for croissants au chocolat!:dem: Baking during a rainy day, preferably all day. Prior to the above, staying in bed on a rainy way. Warm fire, wet dog, tumbler of Lagavulin. Sharing a blanket by the fire, falling asleep by the fire. Reading. Je suis un rat de bibliothèque! |
