why does it seem like every time a girl is interested in a guy, he isn't? but as soon as she doesn't really care anymore, he starts to try to get with her??

Well.. Generally, the guy is either secretly interested or is just not interested at all. So he either shows no interest intentionally, in an attempt to try a sort of "hard to get" kind of thing. I guess to test the girl and her find out her intentions. Or just honestly is not interested and doesn't notice the girls interest.

Either way, afterwards when the girl stops showing interest. The boy either:
1. Realizes the girl has stopped chasing him, he's waited too long.
2. Notices the girl isn't talking to him as much anymore or whatever, realizes the girl is interested and possibly becomes interested in her; simply because of that fact.

The boy then turns into the one doing the chasing as he is interested. Girl takes the opportunity and makes something of it.. or does the same the boy did, which leads to a vicious circle. (HURRAY for vicious circles!)


For girls:
Have you ever settled for someone(Say as your boyfriend) while secretly crushing on someone else? Because you consider them out of your league or un-accessable. Yet still talk to them, showing interest?

Does that happen?

okay- so. i think this can happen to girls. i think that some girls think there is a guy out of reach or a guy that is just never going to happen- so instead of facing a fear of rejection, they most likely take what they can get. they can still really like their boyfriend, but they secretly wish they could've had a shot. they probably still have some type of interest in the other person while having a boyfriend, because that doesn't go away over night, and possibly flirt a little bit.

however, in some cases, the girl will get over this guy that was not in her league if nothing ever happens and be happy with her boyfriend who gave her a shot. she might fall in love with him.

actually- this is why i'm single though. i don't want to settle, so i'm going to wait as long as i can :rolleyes:

It probably does happen but i wouldnt do it because what happens if the 'crush' starts showing intrest then you have to hurt the boyfriend or suffer in silence.
I think some girls do it when they give up on waiting for the crush to make a move or think it will never happen i dont think many girls would settle for a guy just so their not alone and if they did then well theyre not worth the time anyway.


for guys:
if you offered to buy a girl a drink and she said no but still had a conversation and flirted with you would you see that as a rejection of you not just the drink? if that makes sense
Oh, and how do guys show that they like a girl (not just for sex) other than simply saying it??

Hmm, something similar happened to me, or I think it did.

I got so depressed with the fact that the guy I'd prefer most to date didn't like me in that way and had a girlfriend not to mention for reasons I'd rather not discuss we weren't talking, and then I decided to have fun.
So I flirted and two guys got interested in me. I started dating one and after we broke up, I was still kinda in love with the original unavailable guy. Now I'm flirting with another guy that I sorta like, but I feel like I'm still in love with him. So yes, a girl might do that, but I'd never go out with someone if the guy I really liked was single. I don't want to get with others if there's a risk of breaking their heart later.

I mean I don't know what will happen because I haven't fallen in love with someone yet, but yes I would like to fall in love with someone I'm sexually attracted to most importantly because I know I'm less likely to cheat if i ever would because she would satisfy my sexually needs whatever they are and I think I should satisfy her needs sexually as well for the same reason and then both of you know you are satisfying each other and won't cheat on each other.

I'm not sure because ever guy is different and honestly if I noticed you doing that I would ask you if you were ok. lol

To answer your first question: Probably, but it depends on the situation whether your in a bar or at a party because some people don't drink.

To answer your second question: Ever guy is different, and you just sort of know I guess, I'm not the greatest person to ask because I have never ever known anyone that has liked me haha so I can't really answer your question that well especially cause everyone is unique

This might seem like a really stupid question, but its definitely better to ask it now rather then when I have a girlfriend or wife and we decide to become sexually active and look really stupid in front of her, anyone can answer this. Anyways:

When you have sex on a regular basis since your not trying to have pregnancies ever time you have sex, do you usually use condoms? or not?

If I was sexually active regularly, I'd use The Pill because condoms are made out of rubber and the environment needs physical protection more than my baby-making places do. ^_^ But if it's infrequent, I'd probably just use a condom because I imagine it's cheaper.

I walk around barefoot a lot, so I would hate to put all those dirt and germs in my mouth.
And I only do it like if I'm in class or bored or something. Never when I talk to someone or if someone is looking at me.

I don't bite my nails, but I do pick at my lips.
I only do stuff like that when I'm stressed out. If I'm doing it in front of you that is a strong indicator that I'm not into you anyways because if I'm into a guy, I won't be all stressed out... I'll be being a creeper and smiling at them a lot. ^_^
A girl who bites her nails all the time won't give you the best relationship ever anyways unless you are willing to be a psychology student and help her fix her issues. Unfortunately for chicks like me, you do have to think of yourself and not get involved with incredibly needy people.
What I'm trying to say is that nail-biting probably should be a turn-off.

We don't win, we just want to protect ourself :rolleyes:. Some women can only get that feeling through gaining power or winning in fights etc. I find that men (past experiences) are way more controlling/dominating than women! Or whoever is making you have that judgement is pretty High Maintenance/Spoilt. Or even more likely, you just give in too easily :p..

Q: Why do men seem to need sex more than women? Therefore even making the woman feel pressurised into sleeping with them in order to keep the relationship stable?

Probably for the sake of their ego and to make it seem like their dominant in the relationship. It's a stupid idea but some guys take every chance they can get at appearing controlling.

I think it might be because we're uncomfortable with emotions. Like, instead of telling people how he really feels about her, he'll put her down to make it seem as if he doesn't care as much as he does.

I'm not a guy, but I know for a fact that it's because guys want to appear tough and in control in front of their friends. They, whether they are conscious of it or not, want to be manly and big, and a guy who's tough on someone, emotionally or physically, is very manly in their opinion.
If he's nice the rest of the time, then I would suggest letting him have time alone with his guy friends and then the time you have alone together is worth more. If he's mean all the time... err, I won't say it.
A guy needs to have separate worlds and when those worlds collide, he ends up being mean to either his friends or his significant other. Let him have his separate worlds so he can be nice to everyone. :)

If you mean violent, no (obviously). But if you mean rough and headstrong, yes. It depends on the girl, but personally, I would like it if a guy was aggressive, especially sexually. He would just need to make sure there was consent, etc.

How to hint a girl who does go out with me but mostly for cople of hours that: Id need to have more time being with her privately to make any kind of move?

I dont mean meet up more or every day but I mean spending more time then few hours on one day straight.

I mean I probably wouldnt make a move if Id meet her every day for cople of hours or once a week. Like each time it rolls back to beginning to start the warming up and when almoust ready for a kiss we go apart. :(

Umm this is a question for everyone though I'm curious more about girl answers

I'm a guy who gets really shy around girls I like and my mind goes totally blank and when I try to talk to them it comes out really awkward or they'll say something back trying to relate and I'll just be dumb and shot the conversation by unintentionally criticizing like once a girl said "hey were wearing the same thing", but then I reply "anh our jeans are different" or someone asked "its cold out here" we were on a boat deck and it was cold, but I reply "well I remember last year it was colder." we had gone on a boat cruise the year before and it was colder.

I just killed those conversations. I mean I've always been slow and always been more of a doer/ shower person rather than a talker if I like a girl like the girl from the first conversation I mentioned I would always keep her gloves warm at football games when we had to go marching and we couldn't wear gloves when we played our instruments and I used to give her my coat when she shivered cause she didn't bring one. She likes the cold, but lol there's only so much cold you can take.

I'm comfortable talking online, but I still always tried really hard talking in person.

So I guess my question is and I know that every girl/ guy is different, but are there girls who can understand and like a guy like me even though I'm not the greatest talker?

I mean I guess the answer is yes, but I've never ever known a girl who likes me.
My friends have told me you meet a lot of girls in college, but still I just wonder sometimes lol.
I really shouldn't be insecure about that fact I know I'll find someone and there's more to it then personality I guess.

If you are with the person you love...you should be happy..they should be one in the same. But if the one you love doesn't make you happy, leave. Happiness is always first.

Its hard to say because friendship can seem a little different, but if you like them I'd say go for it and at least ask, at least you know the two of you would probably be happy together if it all worked out ^_^.

I am :D My and my boyfriend have the weirdest relationship history ever. We went from hating each other to being best friends to being boyfriend and girlfriend.
Now we are still best friends and I love him, it is great because we are so comfortable with each other. Also be because he is Bi he is great to go shopping with as my gay best friend :)

It definitely both. I need to be able to talk to my boyfriend about everything but I also want them to show their affection. If he is just a talker then he is more a friend than a boyfriend. If all he does is show his affection by doing stuff then it would feel like he was using me for sex and stuff. it has to be a mixture of both in a relationship, I think you need to be able to tell when to do which depending on the mood.
