White house declares COVID to be caused by a lab leak
The White House has deleted certain websites related to covid and has released a new one https://www.whitehouse.gov/lab-leak-...s-of-covid-19/
Thoughts? Public health officials intentionally misled the public and even worked with social media companies to censor what turned out to be the origin of covid. They covered up a fact that in October 2019, a group of US servicemen developed symptoms very consistent with COVID-19, which is consistent with my earlier post where I said I believe the lab leak occurred in October or September of that year. |

I don't even know what to trust anymore. I don't trust this administration to be truthful.

well yeah
everyone lies all the time sometimes people lie because they dont want to embarass themselfs sometimes people lie because they dont want to make others feel bad i can remember uncle dan getting mad at me for not doing the dishes for mom when she worked late and told me to clean them so she wouldnt have to i told him that she didnt want me to clean them and he said i was wrong and to do it or else she would get mad so i did them and when mom came home she was upset because aparently the dishes have a special paint on them that made them expensive and washing them ruined the paint she asked who cleaned them and i told her i did because uncle dan told me i had to or else she would be unhappy and uncle dan said he never told me to do anything so i got in trouble because i told her i cleaned them he lied because he was embarased about being wrong and i got in trouble for telling the truth but there was also the time when mom lied to me i had won a goldfish at a school fair and kept it in a bowl when i got home from school one day i saw that the goldfish was more yellow so i asked mom what happened to it and she said nothing had happened but i wasnt bying it she eventually said that it was actually a new goldfish and the old one had died she lied because she didnt want me to be upset that the old fish died and hoped i wouldnt notice that the new fish was a different one i wasnt upset because the old one died i was upset because she lied to me about it and didnt think i could handle the truth but thats the thing not everyone can handle the truth and not everyone can handle being wrong if the flu leaked from a lab then that means people who get paid lots of money are really bad at there job it also means that things worse then the flu could leak out from a lab people whose job it is to fight sickness dont want to believe they can be risponsable for making people sick so first they lie to themselfs that they did nothing wrong because they cant handle making mistakes then they lie to others so no one else gets mad at them and also so others dont freak out i mean people did freak out alot toilet paper and stuff but... well like i dunno people are just stupid and the more important a person thinks they are the stupider they become i mean look at how stupid people are in reality tv |
Re: White house declares COVID to be caused by a lab leak
Thanks for the responses. What is everyone's opinion on "emergency powers"? They seemed questionable during COVID and obviously even more questionable now with Trump's declared "emergency". I mean emergency powers were literally how the NAZIs took total control. The Weimar constitution was simply too liberal with emergency power exceptions. I dont necessarily think we shouldnt have some emergency capability in law, but the way it is now the government can just declare an emergency and take the free market away. In my lifetime, Ive now seen both political parties do it.
"People who respect our constitutional democracy with freedom to do business HATE this one SIMPLE trick." It is controversial. On one hand, they help with actual emergencies. On the other, they can just be declared and normal protections to our liberties go out the window. I was thinking that it should take some sort of supermajority vote amongst representatives from a super majority of states to declare any sort of emergency. But what then, do we do about emergencies that crop up suddenly without a time to vote on it? I would suggest that within 90 days of an emergency being declared, a vote must be held. The vote must be held every 90 days thereafter. |
Re: White house declares COVID to be caused by a lab leak
It's hard to know what the truth is anymore, especially how COVID was started.
