Relocating.

In the next few years, I would live to move back to the general area in which I grew up. I still have quite a ways to go, in regards to personal issue and finances. I am reaching out because I would like to know I should consider.

I am hoping to make this move by the end of 2024, at the latest; or right around when I turn 40.

Thanks! :)

Hello Jenna,

I am sorry that you have not gotten a reply. Hope to help you out with this. :)

When we grow up in a area and we have been in that house our whole lives or we have sent some time growing up and then we move to a different place with our parents and siblings or we leave on our own, we can start to think about the area that we grew up in and miss all of the fun times we had and want to go back. If you do want to go back, try to save money when you have so much money coming in every week. You can try putting 10 dollars for example in a jar and you keep doing this, don't take out any of the money to use it and then at the end of the year you will have a start. One of my best friends her family did this five years ago, they put 40 dollars in the jar every week and after a year they used this money to go to Disney World as a family. It can work if you want to try this. Or you can try saving your money and then that can also be a good start. Another thing you can try is, have a friend who will want to rent a house or apartment with you in this area and then you will be able to move back. I wish you the best with this and hope that everything works out for you.

Thank you so much for your response, Emmie. I really appreciate you taking the time to offer this advice. I try to take out money every so often, but it's not a whole lot and it is incredibly frustrating. I'm not making any money right now either, so it's made it hard to make that every-few-months withdrawal and stash it away because I need it for other necessary expenses.
