Another Vent About My Family's Finances
 

My dad finally got fired from his job, not because he's bad at it but because the higher ups that suck at their jobs need to get my dad's job to survive. Now I'm worried because I'll definitely need and want to use a lot of money but I don't really have a stream of income rn. Its also concerning because we don't have a savings account. Well, I do have savings but it's for my college and my college only. And I've tried to earn money online but since I'm from asia/a third world country most of these jobs won't accept me. I don't really know how to make money off of my writings but I think I'm gonna try to get into writing competitions, it's not guaranteed that I'll win and get the prize money but neither is applying for a job. Honestly I'm really nervous for my college payments because soon I'm gonna have to pay up a super large amount and I'm not sure if my dad have enough money OR I'm able to save up enough. My uncle is helping me by giving me a certain amount each month but that money is not allowed to be used for anything OTHER than college stuff which is fine but I don't think it'll be enough.


I don't think I make sense right now cuz I'm a bit frantic, like I try to distract myself from that for a bit so I could think clearly but it's super concerning since I barely have enough for my family to last this month. And I hold like half of the money my dad have because I'm the one budgeting and paying for stuff even though my mom is completely capable and in fact MORE capable than my dad, he just doesn't want her to hold the money I guess.
