That’s a great question!
I would sit your mom down on a day when she’s in a decent mood. Do it in a room where there aren’t really distractions. It might help if you make a list of the questions you want to ask before you sit down with her so you don’t forget anything. You can tell your mom that you have questions about your health and that you want her to answer without judging you. Then proceed to ask the questions and discuss when it’s possible. You can also write the questions in a letter that you give her. That will let you ask the questions without nerves or interruptions getting in the way. Your mom will either write you back or sit down with you in person to answer these questions. If she doesn’t know the answer is she able to take you to a doctor or other trusted male in your life to answer the question? |

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Personally, if I had any questions about my anatomy or its functioning, I'd ask my primary care physician. I think this is what you should do. Your mother bathed you when you were an infant and young toddler, but this does not mean she's going to have the answers you are looking for. Any questions or concerns you have would be best answered by a doctor who is qualified to assess you.

You must be sincere. Be confident and don't hesitate, but remember! It's something private between you and your mom. Find a spot where you and your mom can talk about it alone. Pheraps your room?

When talking to your parents about anything that we are going through, make you it's just you and them without others around and if you can't say the words out loud, then try writing them a letter and then give this to them to read. This way you can say everything that you need to say without getting upset or forgetting something.

Ah! Well, I think you can show her a single one. Or just tell her it in your intimacy. Be careful but quick when questioning. Try to not hesitate much, or else will be stressful.
