really anxious about unprotected oral sex

I gave a blowjob to my boyfriend yesterday. This was our first time. He has never had any sexual contact with someone else before and neither have I. For some reason, at that moment, we didn't even think about protection. We really should have know better. Now I'm freaking out and overthinking about STD. He maintains good hygiene and doesn't use drugs either. What are the chances of me getting an STD? I'm too anxious even though I don't have any symptoms or anything yet.

If he truly hasn’t had sexual contact with anyone else before then there wouldn’t be a way to get an STD. If you’re feeling worried you can call your doctor or a reproductive health clinic and see how long you should wait to get tested after oral sex and set up an appointment. In the future condoms can definitely be used, and they even have flavored ones. If he were to perform oral sex on you they have dental dams.

There's no direct contact to your urethra and his sperm, you're safe from this point

You don’t have anything to worry about. Since neither of you have had previous sexual partners it’s safe for you to give him unprotected blow jobs. If that’s the way you prefer doing it there’s no reason not to continue.

Hi there,

As others have mentioned, if neither of you have had unprotected sex, there is no chance of him having an STI but if you are concerned, I would suggest making an appointment to see you doctor.
