When did you first become pregnant?
 

I am curious as to when the girls on this thread who have been pregnant first became pregnant, in addition to a few other things (but since I can only post one poll I decided to go with the first question).

1) At what age did you first get pregnant?
2) Why did you get pregnant? (Was it unexpected, were you trying to have a baby, etc.)
3) If the pregnancy was unplanned what, if any, birth control were you using at the time?
4) What did you decide to do? Did you keep the baby, put him/her up for adoption, or have an abortion? How did you feel about your decision?
5) At the time you got pregnant, what was your marital status? Were you single, with a partner, married, etc.? Did that status change at some point in the pregnancy, and if it did, when?

I just realized I posted an option for "never been pregnant" in a thread about pregnancy. Please excuse my mistake; I haven't had a lot of sleep the past few days and wasn't thinking, and I am not sure how to edit a poll. Just ignore it; thank you.

19, 20 when I gave birth

Because it was meant to be.

Kept him. I love my son more than anyone.

Engaged before getting pregnant, married when pregnant

1. I had been 21 for one whole month when I got pregnant.

2. Pleasant surprise. Deep down I was pretty excited, but I'll admit I cried my eyes out at the fact that I knew my boyfriend wouldn't be so thrilled.

3. I was on the pill... I never really missed any but I liked to manipulate them so I had my period when I chose to. I don't know if that's what messed me up, or the fact that I didn't take it at the same time every day.

4. We ultimately decided to keep him even though my boyfriend was very insistent I get an abortion. I was pretty convinced also that it was the right decision due to horrible timing... but I had a pretty strong attachment from the beginning, so I couldn't go through with it. But if it had happened a few years earlier or with any previous partners... I can't say I wouldn't have gone through with the abortion. Knowing what its like to have a child, I just don't think I could have handled it.

5. I had only been living with my boyfriend for two months, after being together for one year, and just recently starting college courses. We got married a little over a week before I gave birth to my son.

1) I got pregnant last September :)
2) Hubby and I decided we wanted to start a family, we had the financial stability that we had been working towards and had gotten into the market of buying a house.
4) We kept him (obviously)

1) I got pregnant when I was 14
2) I wasn't suppose to have sex for 2 week because I got put on birth control. So, me and my boyfriend (who is my ex now) had sex and that's how I got pregnant.
3) I was on the Sprintec birth control that I'm still currently on.
4) I lost the baby from being stressed out and punched in the stomach. :'(
5) I was in a relationship, but it fell apart when I told him that he got me pregnant.
