asking him out?

well, after some weeks i am in love with a boy, who is a good friend. we've known each other for one year (actually today, it's one year :) ). we are taking dancing lessons together, once a week. So, when we were dancing I looked into his eyes and suddenly I felt butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't stop thinking about him. I am really in love with him, and everytime I see him I'm grinning like mad. He makes me feel so much better and he really understands me. Every time we hang out he makes me laugh so much! Even when I feel bad. So, I think about asking him out but I'm not sure about it. I am pretty small for my age (i really hate to admit this.) so who does want to be together with a girl who is so little? I'm really afraid of his reaction. I'm afraid he would laugh and say he doesn't want to.. So I honestly don't know what to do. (might be confused, but whatever..)

Re: asking him out?

Hey being little isn't a bad thing! ;) I'm barely 5 feet on a tall day. My boyfriend doesn't mind at all; in fact, he loves it. I enjoy it so much when he lifts me up and swings me around. :D So that's not a factor at all! And if you really have strong feelings for this guy, I say go for it. Nothing's stopping you! And since you're only 15, there's not really anything to lose. Worst case is rejection... but so what? You'll get over it and move on in no time. Better than left wondering "what if?" :)

Your not a coward everyone gets scared and worried in that situation.

You should try talking to him about it and see his reaction... You should ask him the worse thing he could say is no.
And as you said he would joke about it and say he doesnt want to... Im sure he wouldnt be horrible to you about it if he didnt want to.
And it doesnt mean you wont stay friends if he says no.

Anyway theres also a 50% chance he would say yes!
Then you would still have him as a friend to.
And if he likes you... if doesnt matter if your little... he would like you for who you are.

Better smaller than him than taller than him.
Just take a chance and ask. You never know, he may feel the same back.
At least you'll know where you stand, and could get an awesome relationship out of it.
Let us know how it goes?
Lou.
