Dating in the Service?
 

Is anyone here dating someone who is going into the service? Marines/Navy/Airforce/etc.

I'm dating a guy who's enlisting in the Marines come September and was wondering if anyone here is in the same situation, has been, and if they'd like to talk about it or give me some insight on what it's like.

Martin (said gentleman) will be off for about 3 months for BC, then 10 days mercy, then off to infantry and tech school.

Any help, advice, etc would be greatly appreciated.

I will be if the relationship lasts that long. He'll be enlisted in one of the branches (he's thinking army) when he graduates in March and he'll probably leave about June then.
