What caused it was stupid CYFS thinking they knew what was best for my family. Hello, foster care. This time it was permanent though. Different parts of the country, not just different suburbs of the same city. Idiots.
That happened when I was 12. But I'd been interfering with wounds healing for as long as I remember, but I didn't really view that as self harm when I was 7 or whatever
