I agree with the above, if you're going to go from that angle. Heck, I've been worried about that before in FRIENDSHIPS, let alone relationships.

For ideas, maybe ways to be supportive of it? Like don't yell and fight over the mental illness, but instead try and be someone they can come to, and try being open minded?

And maybe also reminding them to be patient/understanding?
