1. Distractions-
2. Changing my perspective, challenging the negative thoughts in the best way I know how. Trying to see things differently. That I'm not a bad person; I'm a survivor of bad things that have happened. And because I've been through a lot, I understand certain things and can use that insight to help others. And one day I would have learned the skills that I've missed out on as a child and I would not only have those skills but I would have the experiences of learning these skills the hard way and fighting the battle so that would allow me to help others fight their battles

Trying to not let certain people bring me down but it is really getting hard. But I guess I'm trying to get more social support from outside sources than my family.
