The UK is hopeful of a new vaccine created by Oxford University and AstraZeneca that showed at least 70% efficacy (rising to 90% with a double dosage) and is cheaper and easier to store than other trial vaccines. It's planned to be rolled out to the vulnerable and care workers early next year (I think, not sure?) and may also be rolled out to other countries around the world too. So there's some hope!
