I think you're probably right about why you can't go home, The hospital has a duty to make sure that you are safe before you go home. Be honest with them, though. Tell them that you aren't sure why you can't get home and maybe they will explain further. Also be honest about the things you are experiencing, including symptoms and thoughts. I know you may not want to be there but it is important that you get the help you need and deserve during this tough time.
