If the smell continues, especially if you notice it from your vagina, it may be a good idea to get checked for infections such as this just to make sure you're all clear. Most infections that cause a fishy odor can be treated with antibiotics and don't necessarily mean you're dirty. Also when you shower make sure you don't put any soap inside the vagina because that can lead to infection.
