When I broke the news to my parents that I was pregnant, at first they flipped out and told me that they would not ever help me or the baby. However, after I gave them some time to cool down they started to come around, and now they are the most supportive grandparents ever! I guess what I am trying to say is even if their initial reaction is not the best, just give them some time to digest what you just told them before you get upset yourself.
