Juvenile Huntington's Disease it slowly takes all your abilities until it kills you within 10 years umm it kills your brain so it gives me a whole bunch of generic mental disorders along with all sorts of physical movement disorders n stuff

Re: What is your disability?

I have dyslexia. I just learn differently then everyone else, sometimes its really hard to find the right way for me to understand something, sometimes is takes a few try's. I am wonderful in english; I will be majoring in Journalism.. But I am horrible in math..it is my biggest weakness.
It's not that bad though, I have learned to live with it, I even joke about it sometimes with my friends lol.

Re: What is your disability?

Physical.

I was born with a blood disorder. It was highly expected that I wasn't going to live for more than a week or two max, however, an anonymous donor, who I will never know, but love, saved my life.

Because of this, my legs didn't do as they were meant to. But between grade 2-3 Summer holidays, I had the best time of my life ever, getting the disability cured.

Still to this day, my legs are 'underaged' since I was in a wheel chair for my first year of school. Before that and grade 1 and 2, I didn't do a whole lot of walking/running/etc.

But now I'm on the top of the world, and not letting my disability effect me. Been 11 years with no problem. Lovin' life. :]

Re: What is your disability?

I was born completely blind (I was born premeaturely, I was born only at 22 weeks) I use a screen reader to use the computer, it is a program that takes what is on the screen and reads it aloud. I love using my screen reader and hate how some websites don't follow the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and the UN Convention on The Rights of Persons with disabilities (President Obama just signed this recently) These two pieces of legislation state that websites have to, or should be, accessible to screen readers and other assistive technology such as magnifyers. It's sad to know that when people create sites, they don't think of those that use other ways of viewing it, they think of design and visual stuff before they think of accessibility. (This is just my oppinion based on what I've noticed during my time of browsing the internet) It's not the creator of the websites fault or those that manage it, it's just they don't know that the site isn't fully accessible.

Re: What is your disability?

i have anxiety during the winter but it's not a everyday problem,it comes and goes.
i have dyspraxia, for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a learning disability that effects co ordination, memory, concentration, confidence, and loads of other things,it really does effect my life, school wouldn't believe anything was wrong with me, when i went to colege i got tested and they said i have dyspraxia. i also have a number learning disability but it's not been proven because colege doesn't do tests for it but the lady who tested me for dyspraxia said i do show signs of dyscalculus (the math disability) so i'm gonna get some hope hopefully.

Re: What is your disability?

I've always had asthma. I can't run more than 36 feet or so, without ending up completely winded. I have never been able to play very well at sports, I can't do the running.

Suits me fine, I don't like sports that much anyway! :-D
