Her food always makes me sick. Please don't make me eat it and then go to work!

The more I thought about it, the less I wanted it, but as one of only two established employees in the department, I would've appreciated a discussion before you hired an outsider. And if you gave it to her instead that's fine. I don't like her and she doesn't communicate at all, (which is supposedly a mainstay requirement in the company culture), but it's not up to me. Does this mean I got screened out, or tha my next review will be bad? And, how am I supposed to believe that there's more to my job than folding if that's all I ever get told to do?! Maybe I should start looking for another job?

I'm not going to give you a reason to stay, and you don't need an excuse to leave. You don't owe me anything and if you're even entertaining thoughts of walking away then maybe you should. This isn't a fight, but I won't stop you from giving up if that's what you want.

I'm really struggling with you right now. I'm not sure how to proceed. I'm not good with this.

I hate you. I hope you are okay. Idk what to do or how to get a hold of you. How can I hate you and worry about you all at once.

Kate* July 8th 2018 03:25 AM

Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.

If everything you told me was true, I'm now scared of you. Which is ridiculous because I've known you for almost a year and have had nothing but positive experiences and have never been afraid of you before finding this out. I'm still sad you're leaving and they'll be screwed without you.

Please do not go homeless. I don't know why you going homeless freaks me out so much. Is it embarrassment or is it something else? I don't think it's embarrassment because there is nothing to be embarrassed by. I wish I could figure out what it is.

I'm sorry I froze. It was unexpected and I didn't know how to react. I'm not sure I'll tell you why it affected me so much, but I hope it doesn't make you feel weird around me.

My logical, reasonable judgment of your character just slipped. If that's even possible anymore.

How could you not tell your own mother, the woman carried you in her own womb for nine months, that you had lost your job? I can only imagine how C is feeling right now, reading over your status and informing your father that you're 1500 miles away without a job. But, oh, you might get a job. :?

I wish more than anything that you were in jail. I know that may seem crazy to some people, but I really do believe that bad people should be away, and you are a bad person. I wish you were locked away so you couldn't hurt anyone else I care about.

When I got the news, I'll admit, I wasn't the least bit sad. I was disappointed when I realized things were getting better. I don't know if I should feel bad for what I felt, or not, but at least I know how things are going to go once you leave.

Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.

This sucks, that doesn't mean I'm not glad to have a job or that I'm not going to work it all, but it also doesn't mean that I don't have a right to complain about how much it sucks. And telling me to "just do it" and "stop working yourself up about it" isn't going to make a difference. I know what this takes out of me, I know how much I can handle before I need a break, and I know what happens when I'm forced to work beyond my limits. It isn't pretty.

you make me nervous in a lot of ways. I miss you like mad when we aren't together and I get crazy tense imagining you with someone else. I know that you have given me no reason to feel this but it's just this paralysing fear I have.

You still don't get it, and at this point I'm way too tired to try to explain it again. You dropped the ball and it's too late to pick it back up now. I'm done, okay? I'm just... done.

Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.

Just because the position is open again doesn't necessarily mean I want it, but I would at least like the opportunity to discuss it and decide before you bring someone else in who gets to tell me what to do I'm the one with seniority now, you're going to have to train someone from scratch anyway, at least give me the option. But, I absolutely REFUSE to come in before 7AM

And how come you are the only one who can do these things and as soon as you're ready to do them, you disappear?! I've waited a year for a radio, no one else can give it to me?

Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.

I'm really not okay right now and I desperately need you to recognize that. I understand that you're afraid of hurting me more, but you not doing anything is making matters worse. Not talking about it is actively making matters worse. It's not just you, it's our entire family. Our entire family knows that I have an eating disorder but no one is saying anything, including me. None of us know what to say - you're all afraid of hurting me and I'm afraid of hurting you all. But this silence is allowing this to get worse. Just because I'm weight-restored doesn't mean that I'm healthy.

You thought it's a lot that I have one 20 page research paper to write? Well actually, it's due in OCTOBER, not December, and I have like 3 other 20 page papers to write, plus everything else, and it could ALL be due in October.. So sorry that I seem a little stressed and you can't handle it. Not like I'm stressed and might die.

I'm watching this documentary 17 years later and 17 years older with constant chills rushing through me, almost in tears. The last moments of your lives must have been indescribably terrifying. I'm so sorry. Your loses were not in vain; you changed a country forever.

Re: Say something you wish you could say to their face.

After too long, the words start to feel foreign in my mouth. What does it mean -- to love you ? What do these words mean when we spend 80% of our time apart and we interact maybe twice a week in-between over phone-calls which feel part of some past ritual whose movements I have forgotten. What does it mean when I feel like we aren't on the same page, not even part of the same book ?

I do not feel that you love me when we are far apart.

Instead of making excuses and passing the blame why not do your job? You're a manager and you manage nothing . You sit in the office all day or walk past ringing phones and complain that we make no money or take too long but do you ever offer to help?? Honestly can't wait for you to go.

I swear you just need to stop making me feel like I'm at fault for everything. I'm trying so, so hard to be what you want me to be. Just... realize that I can only try so much.
