Untitled Poem :O

This is definitely not the best poem I've written, but I really needed to get my feelings out and this somewhat accurately describes a bit of what I've been feeling lately.

Why can't you accept me for who I am
I know I'm not like everyone in society
But I don't want to be
Why do you want me to change myself
Why is it so wrong to not fall in love
I'm always told I just have to find the right person
There's no way not to love
That's all they say
It's a part of life-for everyone
A part that I have never known
And will never know
I won't be lonely without someone
Being lone doesn't mean I have to be miserable
I'm only lonely 'cause no one understands
I'm not missing out on anything
Except being accepted for who I am

This is really great, don't put it down. :) It is powerful and it did its job if it helped get your emotions out. I like the last line, how you put "Except being accepted." I don't know why but I like the way they sound together.
