A poem I wrote awhile ago :)

I need to find somewhere to go
with just a moment to spare
I squeeze your hands before I leave*
I'm not leaving forever
just for awhile
I'm going to miss you
but I need a break
a break from reality
you once told me I can do anything
anything I put my mind to
so If leaving for a while is the answer
than let me do what I feel is necessary*
with just a sound of whistling of the wind
I went in hiding
protecting my surroundings
will you think of me when I leave
will you let me know how you are
will you be willing to send me letters
the sound of cars passing by
I reach for my phone and called my family
the sound of crying fill the phone
I'm sorry and I learned my lesson
