Smile

My life was going down the sink
I could only see a future that was so dark and bleak
I wasn't where I wanted to be
I'd lost sight of the real me
I opened a door
A smile and friendly faces galore
Friends even more
They held me hand
Showed me the way
Put the blade down kiddo it ain't gotta be the same each day
Don't you know your worth so much more
Smile and laugh we will help you through
Put those feet back on the floor

Its interesting how everyones seeing it as it's about friends - it sort of its. but its also about my local YMCA which through going to i have made lots of great friends - i sort of do see some of the staff at the ymca i go to as friends.
