Echoes (poem! <3)
 

(I write lotsa poems, I'll probably be sharing more on here c:)

Shapes of ourselves echo in the stillness.
The hush of the night wrapping us in it's embrace,
Warm and candied like a mother's gentle love,
Soothing the anarchy of lives yet to be lived.

Silhouettes burning against a moon's glow,
Tuning out the universe's cacophony of static,
And it's just us;
Serenity turning our budding minds into stars in the night.

Two figures mourning time beyond this moment,
Singing to everyone's nothing in forgotten dreams.
The streams of time flowing into old quiet summer streets of days passed,
Recurring days played out in our minds, yet to lose their flavor.
