rainy days

just some dumb short song thingy i wrote a while back :>

i'm sitting here, watching the rain.
it's kinda calming,
and
i don't know if i should be smiling, or start sobbing.

yet,
i think it's weird, because i'm over here feeling all happy,
but
i don't wanna pour this stuff out,
and sound sappy.

the rain is cold and torturous,
but i don't think i could resist
the chance to dance,
the chance to fly,
the chance to take your heart and make it mine.

or maybe just your spare time.

I really like what you've written! Thank you for sharing it. I love that the lines are different lengths so it almost has rhythm to it. It flows really well. :)

Not dumb at all! I really enjoyed reading this, especially the rhyming between 'happy' and 'sappy'. Although it's also not sappy at all to talk about your feelings :)
