She's bound by chains she can hardly portray
Head up in flames sanity in disarray
Drowning in misery wont make it to heavens gates
But what can you say to her penetrated breastplate?

She takes part in the courtroom debate
Not guilty he does but plead
Her fears now confirmed
As he walks free
She's trapped in a cage
One that has left her so full of rage
She sits alone and lets herself bleed
Her knight in shining armour
He was just a fantasy
In reality
Her knight in shining armour
A monster was he!

She pleads with herself
Just let me let go!
But she wont let herself
She doesnt know where to go
Feeling so low she shouted out
Begging the stars to come save her
Then from nowhere he came out
Always the one happy that made her

From a distance a far
She made a wish upon that shooting star
Silence hung around like a pungent smell
Only time can tell
How much more of this she can really take
When the final straw will eventually she her break

Nothing,
But nothing will turn to something,
Something into something more,
Eventually finding what's worth fighting for,
She'll lift her face up to the sun,
Tears finally drying long after they'd begun

She walks and walks in the sun
One by one
With every person she passes
She hopes for a smile
But none prevail
A man with a sign smiles back
She gives him a coin
And says may your life be happier than mine
She turns and leaves

In the doubt,
the shroud of thought mangled about,
all she can do is in her mind, scream, cry and shout.
Shout to the skies,
bleeding in her mind's eyes,
cutting to be rid of all life's lies.
Inside, a wingless angel's heart dies.

(This was an absolutely brilliant idea <3 :))

Her heart has died
It can never be mended
And as hard as he tried
All her smiles have ended
She hates this world
And this man she once trusted
She's a hopeless girl
With her arms red and crusted.

[Just sayin', I agree with Sevrae up there; this was a wonderful idea. :) ]

But slowly her wounds seem to heal beneath the stars,
The stars that guide her dreams and guide her heart;
Like a sailor lost at sea she uses her the night as her guide,
The darkness as her friend and the wind as her ride;
A compass spinning eternally until it points due north at dusk,
And leads her to the light that on the horizon lies,
Brings her to him who weighs the anchor and gives her ties
To the land, to a family, to her even her very life,
And pulls away all the mask that lies,
To reveal the soul within and guide her soul to the dawn.

let me out
she has to shout
her eyes are closing
the tears are flowing
LET ME OUT
she can't get any louder
the walls are closing in
THIS IS MY LIFE
i want this to end
i want to live this life
my way
she can't get any louder
the shadows she's drowning in
are getting closer and closer

She desperately wants to hire someone as a disposer,
Someone to remove the demons inside,
So for once in her life she won't have to hide,
But that seems like a far fetched dream,
The realization of which, that makes her want to scream,
Looks as though she'll have to stand again,
And fight for everything she believed in then,
One day she'll wake up and finally realize,

Today is the day
that she realises shes great
beautiful, lovely, and smart
she thought they all hated
when in reality they loved
the temptations so strong
she does her best to hold on

Her beautiful blue eyes
As she silences

Lies that started
With a smile
Ended with a laugh
Told everyone
"I am fine"

She finally tore off
Her facade
Of a Mask.

A face was revealed
One of pain
One of hurt
One of hated tears

One far beyond her years,
She finally opened up to show,
Every last thing she'd come to know,
The hatred, the fear,
The never ending apprehension,
Wanting to show her dissension,
Which she was always before forced to hide,

Past memories come back to haunt
Her expression fades , her smile its gone
This life she leads has nearly won
Since she was small
All she's known is violence between 4 walls
Shouting, yelling, smashing, hitting, punching
It's all her eyes have ever seen
Now she's spreading her wings
Asking why does life have to be this way ?
Ever since she was small
Violence inside those 4 walls,
She knows what goes on behind closed doors
But nobody else never knows and never will

Waiting for a place to call home
Only one chance to see the signs
Wishing there wasn't the word 'goodbye'

Her fathers footsteps she hears
Door handle turning
Heavy breathing down her neck
She begins to shake and sweat
Heavy fists pounds
In the quiet of the night
Neighbours hear the fight
They turn their backs
And tuck theirs in to bed
Whispered good night
The girl in the house opposite
Spent her night
Filled with fear and fright

all she can do is cry
cry
and cry
then she knew
she had a choice
she could let it all go
or hold it in all tight as so

They whisper to tell
But she is torn
She knows its wrong
Though shes more afraid of teh unknown
Dying to be rid of this life
Too hesitent to utter a cry
So all she does is lie with her mouth stapled shut

The stitches strain,
they sting and burn,
shuttered eyes
and closed lips in pain,
her countenance stern
as her stomach churns.
But no matter the hurt,
as she tries to burst free,
she will not desert
her efforts to subvert
the voices that won't let her be,
the demons that she holds at bay
The black saints, the nay-sayers.
Because day by day
her bindings fall to disarray
She sees the light
with her perfect sight,
she hears her voice;
and does, in jubilee, rejoice.
Because soon shall be the day
when the black saints' black
turns but to gray,
and fades away,
the day her heroine's heart
can now proclaim
she made it through the pain and shame
and arrived unto a better place
a brand new world of light and space
and she walks the path before her feet,
and walks with grace, her voice so sweet.

Pretending shes fine
Noone could find
She was slowly decaying
All thoughts in her mind
Turing to ash
To cover the white snow
They never listened
Shell never show

But though one may not show,
one can always tell,
that this is the place where demons dwell.
This is their home of fear and strife,
their flagellations cut like a knife,
And hollowed out the shell may be,
the eyes now blind,
the listless seed,
a pulse is still found in the dirt
and though thou with death doth flirt,
the pulse is slender, quick and sweet,
and do the voices all still speak
of darker days and brighter nights
desecrating nature's own delights
for the sake of saving?
I think not.
For though one has gone,
one has not begot
the key to it all,
the hope, the peace,
that brings even the noblest men
to their knees.
And in silence they all pray
that swiftly, swiftly come the day
that judgement walks mongst mortal men
to clear us all of all our sin.

And then that noble man
Came back to her side again
To wisk her away from herself
She held on tight to his shiny black armor
Never forgetting she loved him forever
They rode off on a horse
Away from her pain
Off toward the dawn
That brought a new life

But that was not the last we saw of that fair maiden for she soon ripped out that good sirs heart.
Apart, he was.
He loved her dearly,
but being smitten with another drove her to this deed
she left with a flutter, along with the ring she left his heart in the gutter.

But how was she to know love,
When she only knew the abuse and a shove?
A broken heart lost in pain
With no buffer to the rain.
How could she know who to trust,
When she could only see their lust?
Face so perfect yet heart so damaged
How could she love when she could barely manage?

barely manageing was her life
its how she made it through
she knew of nothing else
never knowing what to do
her suffering is her rock
her fear her very soul
it may come as a shock
but she is still in love with you

And, as in love with you as she may be
She will never be able to see
How much he truly hurts her.
Sitting in the darkness at night.
Trying to win an endless fight.
Thinking over and over
How she will leave him.
She believes she will never be relieved of him.

him to be gone
she clings to him
with all her heart
for hes all she knows
and all she cares to know
because shes afraid of the world
because shes afraid of herself

He supports her house of cards,
But just how equal are their hearts?
She sees them as two twin souls,
But they see that they're full of holes.
She is the meat to his knife.
Devotion is her way of life.

Nobody can hear her plea.
Nobody can set her free.

Yet freedom is her greatest desire
She balances on a thin grey wire
Afraid to fall, scared to fly
She fears this is how she'll die
With one deep breath she starts to sing
Hoping an angel will give her wings
To fail is to quit, but can quiting bring peace
Can it make the pain forever cease?

This is so awesome! I would have loved to add a few lines, but it's kinda late over here and I am very sleepy so well...next time I guess. :P
