My heart is pounding
The worry racing its way to my mind
I cringe as I feel the anxiety
Making its way through my spine
The butterflies twisting about
As I’m trying to shout
My heart and mind running wild
My body on an endless ride
As the roller coaster of life makes its way
Here and there
Day by day
On a never ending fight
Between myself
And this thing called life
My world is spinning
Round and round
I can’t even
Touch the ground
I am looking all around
I am nowhere to be found
I am so lost in my mind
I can’t even make out time
Where oh where can I be
I am stuck
