I am sad, more then I would like to be, but still don't know if it is depression.

I have had a lot of things happen in the last few years, like my dad having over 10 surgeries and a few of my friends being suicidal. I always put everyone else's problems over mine, but recently have been sad a lot of the time and have had little to no energy.

I know that it is hard to tell from just a few sentences if someone is depressed or not, but I would like all the help I could get
