MORTAL is just a reminder to those people that seek perfection that perfection doesn't exist. It's okay to be good enough.:)

MORTAL

I’m not a superhero.
I don’t have lazar eyes.
I don’t have super strength.
I’m not a master of disguise.
I can’t make the earth tremble.
I can’t soar throughout the skies.
I’m no superhuman.
Just a person who really tries.

I can’t become invisible.
I can’t stretch myself.
If we’re miles and miles away
I can’t hear your cry for help.
I don’t have x-ray vision,
I can’t change the weather.
I’m no superhuman.
Just gotta hold me together.

What I am is a person
Who has no riches.
But whose suffered it all
Made it through with bruises and stitches.
A person whose hurt,
Been heartbroken.
The tears that I cry,
Are that memory token.
That remind me that I’m me,
That sometimes its hard to stand.
That I can make mistakes.
I’m not superman.
