Depression and Suicide If you or a loved one is feeling depressed or suicidal, you are not alone. Talk with other users about your feelings here.
Anyone who knows me will know I’ve lost my fair share of friends to suicide as well as my only sister. But yesterday a friend died, again. I’m in so much pain it’s unbearable. It’s fair to say she was failed by the broken system like many others. And I’m just so sad. I can’t believe she’s gone. And on top of it, it brings back emotions from when I lost my big sister and it all just hurts.
I don’t really know what I’m looking for from this. Just needed to express myself in a safe place.
I’m so sorry that you had to face this loss. Maybe you can do something to honor your friend, when you’re ready. With other deaths I’ve also found it helpful to write letters to the person to get out all the things I wanted to say to them. I’ll send good vibes your way <3
The sun is always gonna rise up
You need to get up, gotta keep your head up
Look at the people all around you
The way you feel is something everybody goes through
I'm so sorry to hear you're dealing with another loss. Losing someone we love is never easy, and it gets difficult the more it happens. Life is so unfair, and the system doesn't do anything to help those struggling with psychiatric issues. Please keep taking care of yourself. Don't forget, you matter. <3
I think Dez gave a wonderful suggestion. Perhaps writing a letter to your friend can give you some closure.
