Re: Opening a bank account with a goal... -

Hey there,
I think it's a good plan to open a bank account with a purpose. Right now, I'm going to assume you live at home with your parents. That said, I don't know if you pay bills or not. But the best and easiest time to save money is when you don't have to spend it on bills and things you need. So take advantage of that. Is this a savings account, or a checking account? I would strongly advise making it into a savings account. Reason being, you can't use your debit card or checks for your savings account, making it harder to spend the money you're working hard to save. Honestly, I think this is a great goal. And I wish I would have started saving when I first got a job at 15, but I just blew every penny I ever had. If you need any help or have any questions with this goal, let me know. I'm more than willing to help out where I can :]
