Triggering: Eating Disorder Relaspe

I told my mom and she kind of ignored it, my therapist hasn't let me talk about it yet, and I don't know what to do. I really want to be able to eat without feeling guilty and feeling like I should purge but I do feel that way. I have UFED(Unspecified Food and eating disorder) so I feel like it's not even a valid disorder because its not really even a diagnostic code, it's just...there. I feel like shit. I don't know what to do anymore and I really want to go better. I'm leaving my outpatient center soon so its not like I can even get a lot of help on this....UGH.[/size][/color][/font][/size][/color][/font][/size][/color][/font]

What you're going through definitely is valid. You don't have to have a fancy name for what you're going through to be important. This affects your physical and mental health and therefore it's very valid!

May I ask why your therapist hasn't let you talk about it yet? You should have a say in what goes on in your sessions, since they're for you! Maybe ask them why they don't want you talking about this and nudge them to start the discussion.

[FONT=""][COLOR=""][SIZE=""][FONT=""][COLOR=""][SIZE=""]the last time we had a session it was mainly talking about school. with my other therapist she just prioritizes other patients before me so it kinda sucks bc yesterday she forgot i even was there...which sucked. But Im in group therapy with one of my therapists and individual with the other so one i have control over and one i really don't.[/size][/color][/font][/size][/color][/font]

My psychitrist said that it could be my gender dysphoria because I want to lose weight so my tits are smaller.[/size][/color][/font][/size][/color][/font]

Is there any way you can switch therapists? It’s super unprofessional that yours blew you off like this because it’s a serious issue.
