How much sleep do you normally get? Do you feel like you should get more sleep? What do you do when you can't sleep? Do you read a book, listen to music, play games?
I try to get between 8 - 10 hours of sleep every night; but I always wake up feeling just as tired as I did when I went to bed the night before! When I can't sleep, I like to read.

Same. I usually wake up tired even if I get 9-10 hours of sleep; but if I get 7-8 I am more tired, and if I get less than 7 I'm a zombie
If I can't fall asleep (which I usually don't have problem with, more likely I can't get up), I read a book or put on some sleep stories on YouTube.

My sleep varies so much, like I can sleep for ages and still wake up feeling as exhausted as I was the night before, yet other times I can sleep for about 5 hours and feel like I've had the worlds best sleep ever. I have sleeping pills and an anti psychotic medication which has a sedative effect aswell. For me sleep is like a on going battle. I've recently stopped drinking coffee in the afternoon and have stopped drinking fizzy pop etc too, and those two things do seem to be helping a little, however I have chronic insomnia, and often wake in the night. I do use sleep meditation apps on my phone or listen to a sleep meditation on my amazon music app...

I sleep between eight and twelve hours per night, which is a big window.
I play on my phone too much when I can't sleep, and then I get distracted by it.

Ideally, I try to get between eight and ten hours of sleep a night. Nine hours is my golden number. However, in the last several months I tend to get less than that, and lately I usually get between 5-6 hours. When I can't sleep I generally don't do anything. Getting up, or reading, or especially getting in front of a phone/computer screen just tends to wake me up. I generally just try to relax and get sleepy as best I can, and if I can't after too many hours I just get up. Sometimes I will try a mindfulness practice from YouTube if I am really desperate, but that's not something I do regularly when I have insomnia.
aim for feel ready for bed around 10 to 10.30ish, sometimes gets to be 11 by the time I make it into bed. Alarm at 7.30 am weekdays, at weekends can sleep to 9.00am
I always have the best of intentions on worknights to get at least 8 hours of sleep, but often that ends up being more like 6 or 6.5. I'd say on average though, I get between 6.5 - 8 hours of sleep.
I do take naps often though, when I can, as my chronic pain/illness make me fatigued most of the time (I like to call myself perpetually sleepy).
My like *ideal* wake up feeling mostly awake and refreshed is about 8.5 - 9 hours but that's few and far between.
When I can't sleep, it depends. Often I just stay laying in bed - which I know is the opposite of what you're supposed to do but I also know myself and if I get up and do anything I will absolutely not go back to bed and then all of a sudden it's 6:30 am and I have to get ready for work. Sometimes I'll read or play a soothing game on my phone or do some breathing exercises/meditations.
All things being equal, I aim for about eight hours. Anything less than seven and I tend to struggle the next day, and usually anything more than nine hours makes me overtired. That said sometimes fatigue kicks in and I need more sleep, around nine/ten hours a night.
If I have trouble falling asleep my go-to is to read one of the books I keep on my nightstand, but if that doesn't work sometimes I'll get up and have a warm drink or play with my pets for a bit.

that's a good question. usually 8 to 10 hours and i don't want more sleep otherwise i wake up tired. when i can't sleep i chat with friends on my phone but most of the time i fall asleep quite easily!
It can take me a while to get to sleep or I sometimes wake up througout the night. I probably get between 6-7 hours a night sleep. Sometimes more, sometimes less. I really think I should be aiming for 8-9 hours though!
