I always said I wanted to be an author. Now I want to be an author, a musician, an actress, a model.......too bad none of those things will ever happen. I don't know why I'm in college studying sign language interpreting when that's not what I REALLY want.

When I was really little, I wanted to be an actress.
When reality set in at about 7, I decided I wanted to be a teacher. Yeah, I was a weird kid.
About the time I turned 10, I started bouncing around a lot, thinking of a lot of different things.
I'm going to college next year. Guess what I want to do for a living?

I've always wanted to be a Firefighter and a police officer (which is possible). Eventually, I dropped my dreams of being a firefighter to pursue the Police Officer career.
From the time I was alittle kid - till now I've still wanted to be a Police officer and that has never changed not once.

Don't feel bad. Many of my "friends" make fun of me for some of my dreams. They may be joking about it, but it still upsets me that I don't get any support.

When I was little I mainly wanted to be a veterinarian AND a pediatrician. (This is in addition to wanting to be a chef, a ballerina, a professional martial artist and an actress) Don't ask me how I was gonna juggle that much.
Right now I'm looking more into music and psychology. I'd like to live the rockstar life for a while and then settle down and be a psychologist, specializing in teens and children. C:

I want to become a school psychologist and mess up the system they have in the US for learning disabilities since I feel they teach more learned helplessness than actually help kids.
Plus I want to work with depressed teens on a side.

When I was a kid I wanted to be an Olympic Gymnast. No shit, I read about Nadia Comaneci, and was like, I'm the next her.
Unfortunately I had a serious head-injury at 10 which put paid to that one.
I also wanted to be an artist, or a musician, or join the army.
I did music all through high-school and was offered early entrance to university for a BMus majoring in composition (who doesn't want to write film scores?), but turned it down because I was *also* offered early entry into a private art school, which I accepted. I later dropped out.
As for joining the army, I applied, with the intention of playing in the New Zealand Army Band, but was turned down because apparently I would not be mentally fit for combat. (I play saxophone mainly, and I'm great at it.)
Still living gymnastics though. I'm a gymnastics coach, I coach competitive MAG. I'm also a MAG judge.
I've got an incomplete B.A. in Psychology and English because at around about 20 years old I realised I need a realistic career. The psychology is because I'd like to be a neuropsychologist, the english is because I'm good at it, and a one year PGDipTchng is all I'd need for a sweet job to support my whilst I do my Masters. Also, you can travel with teaching.
Currently just being a professional procrastinator.
Although I'd also like to spend time being a bus driver, a long haul trucker, or a tattoo designer. It's clear from my avatar that I have no shortage of talent :P

When I was younger, I either wanted to be a rock star (but knew that I had no talents in that feild) and morbidly, a forensic scientist (as a younger child I LOVED crime shows, I guess it stemmed as a way to be around my mom, because she loves them.)
I've said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a thousand fucking times
That I'm OK, that I'm fine, that it's all just in my mind
But this has got the best of me, and I can't seem to sleep
It's not 'cause you're not with me, it's cause you never leave

Well, I will be graduating this coming Tuesday night. I am both nervous and excited. I feel like smiling but I also feel like crying. I plan to attend a local college for two years and then transfer to a bigger one for a two year program in ultrasound tech If I do not transfer, I will stay at the small, local college to become a nurse and specialize in pediatrics

I wanted to be a train conductor. I wanted to be an astronaut. I wanted to be a lion
Right now, dream #1 is to become a singer, but because the chances of that happening are very slim, I want to be a paediatric nurse.

Oh man, when I was in kindergarten I really wanted to be a paleontologist! I had a rather unhealthy obsession with dinosaurs. Besides, I was a kid; digging around in the dirt and getting paid? Sweet!
Now I'm thinking of either becoming an editor or going into the phsychology field. (Not sure what I'd do with my degree yet)
Out of the ashes I'm burning like a fire. You can save your apologies, you're nothing but a liar. I've got shame, I've got scars that I will never show. I'm a survivor in more ways than you know. 'Cause all the pain and the truth, I wear like a battle wound. So ashamed, so confused, I was broken and bruised. Now I'm a warrior.
