Film and Television Whether you're a film buff or just want to talk about your favorite television show, this forum is for you.
What are/were your favorite TV shows from the 90s or 2000s? Were you alive when these shows were on? If you were, when did you start watching? Or did you wait until after it was over to start watching? If you weren't, were either born after it'd already been on or were born after it ended, how did you get introduced to it?
My favorite TV show of the 90s is Friends. I was still a child when it first came on but didn't begin to watch it until after the series had ended. My favorite TV show of the 2000s is Gilmore Girls. I started to watch it in the third season but, due to certain creative choices made by the writers, I stopped watching it in season five. I'd watch the full series during the pandemic on Netflix.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
I didn't have time for a lot of TV or movies growing up, we we're always busy.

One of my favourites ( I think this was uk only) was a kids program called dick n Dom in da bungalow. It was lkke a kids game show where the contestants (kids ) were bungalow heads and they would do all sorts of silly and mucky and whacky stuff to win points and be the winner of the show and win prizes etc .

I grew up watching Friends, which I still enjoy to this day but I was not alive when it first aired.
I was really young when Friends first aired so I was not allowed to watch it. When I watched the full series on DVD in 2005, I was in my late teens. I still enjoy friends, but am not able to watch it anymore because I don't subscribe to the platform it streams on.
My favorite 90s show growing up was Boy Meets World. My favorite as an adult is definitely Friends, which I actually didn't watch until I was in college.
My favorite 2000s shows are Gilmore Girls and Lost. I started watching Gilmore Girls during season 4 and caught up on old episodes on ABC Family. I didn't watch Lost until I was in high school, but it remains one of the most brilliant shows I've ever watched. I was also a big Degrassi kid growing up.
wanderlust consumed her;
foreign hearts & exotic minds compelled her.
she had a gypsy soul
and a vibrant heart for the unknown.
