Tattoo & losing weight. -

If you get a tattoo on your lower back and then lose a load of weight, does it effect the tattoo? As in, the way it'll look once you have or will it still look the same?

Depending on how much weight you lose, it may affect your tattoo. Dramatic weight loss only shrinks each part of the body a small amount and slight shrinking of a tattoo usually won’t change the appearance much unless the tattoo is very detailed. Weight loss could potentially cause a distorted image, but it is rare.
Well the lines could potentially go closer to each other if your skin shrinks, I guess. I don't think that you do have much to worry about as it is rare for it to distort but you may want to talk to your tattoo artist before you have it done, or if you're planning on losing weight then you may want to wait until you have lost the weight.
well the skin will probably get looser if you lose a lot of weight.. so it will probably effect the tattoo slightly.. the lower back isn't somewhere where people generally hold a lot of weight so it wouldn't be effected as much as a tattop say on your hip or stomach.
..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..
