Tattoo Placement?

I am thinking about getting a tattoo. Actually I know I want to get my tattoo, it's just that my parents are EXTREMELY against me getting a tattoo, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about where I could place it so that I can still show people, I can just hide it from my parents fairly easily for a while.

Any suggestions are much appreciated

Hip, Lower back?

I have one on my lower back and it's not really big so it's quite nice.

i wouldn't worry about putting it somewhere where your parents won't see it - because they'll see it soon enough!. but urmm, i'd go for your hip, foot or lower back. my friend wanted to hide her tattoo from her parents and got it done behind her ear - and her parents still haven't seen it after like 6 months.

Well any place that you usually have covered with clothing. I have mine on my shoulder, 3 months on Thursday and the parents still don't know. With that being said and what everyone else has said I say you stomach/hip, in between shoulder blades, on your shoulder, middle back, lower back, ribs, or on the side of your back. I wouldn't suggest your foot because unless you plan on wearing socks 24/7/365 that is not a great idea, plus when it's healing it needs to breathe so you wouldn't want to wear socks. Placement also depends on size and design. Some tattoos may look better on your back then on your foot or whatever. Any more questions feel free to pm

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking my shoulder is probably where it's going to go. I want to get one on my foot, but that's for something a bit smaller than what I have planned now.

Ankle, lower back, hip, thigh and if you've got long hair then the nape of your neck you can wear your hair up to show people but don't when the parents are about.

hhmm I say like on your back...maybe shoulder blade, thigh, hip, calf...It all depends on what your daily outfits contain on where you can put it to keep it hidden.
