What do you notice about yourself? -
December 23rd 2020, 07:06 PM
I'm not talking about physically. I'm referring to your behaviours and things you do due to a specific emotion.
Whenever I talk about something that frustrates or irritates me, I have a habit of scratching my head.
Whenever I'm exercising, I often pull 'those' faces. Even when the weight isn't that heavy.
Sometimes I suck or bite on my lip whenever I'm concentrating or deep in thought.
In order to listen to people and really soak in what they're saying, I have to fidget or shuffle around a lot.

When studying I tend to suck my lower lip.
Whenever in town, unconsciously I check out the area in what's known as Situational Awareness.
I can't read a book unless horizontal.
I always wake myself up by snoring.

When I'm passionate about something that I'm not very open about, my voice kind of shakes a bit when I'm talking.
If I'm upset and am reaching a point of nearly crying, the left corner of my lip starts trembling.
If I am thinking/remembering, I look upwards and to the left.
I can make eye contact when listening to others, but tend to look away when I'm talking.
If I'm excited, I clap (I used to do this more years ago and don't do this so much now).
If I feel insulted/offended/rejected I get a stabbing pain in the same area as my heart.
I have noticed I randomly poke my tongue out but I haven't yet found out why or what emotion is behind that. Might be thinking or concentrating.

I do that but to the right!
I know I notice things about myself but I can't think of them, LOL. I'll hopefully come back to this. I don't know if it's a fun fact or not that it was discovered recently that I don't hold a pencil te right way.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive

I notice when I'm excited or anxious, I begin to stutter. It's actually something that started in the past few years.
I am never able to make eye contact with strangers or acquaintances, and I have to really trust the person to do so.
Also, when I am excited or anxious, I begin to move random parts of my body; for example, I bounce my legs.

Whenever I'm anxious about something, I start fixating on it, and then get annoyed that I'm fixating on it. Especially when it's something minor or "stupid."
Sometimes when people ask me things, I'll close my eyes or look away while I'm thinking, I guess so I can focus better or so they don't see the completely blank/confused look on my face.
