You've come to the right place for support. I'm really glad that you've chosen recovery; that you want to get better and treat your body with respect. You shouldn't be ashamed of what you've done so far, but be proud of what you're going to do to reverse it and change. I'm always a PM or VM away. You can always talk to me if you're in need of someone to talk to or if you just want to chat for a distraction, that's okay too. You're going to get through this.
My achievement: for the past month, I've eaten 2-3 meals a day without a fight and I've not recorded a thing in my food journal. Yay for recovery.

So today is my mom's birthday and I was super nervous about it because that meant lots of food, but I did it!
This morning we woke up and had some birthday cake and I willed myself to eat it, given it was a small piece, but it's progress. I didn't wind up eating for the rest of the day, but I had a really good dinner. Some may think that a salad and sandwich is not a lot of food, but when you are used to just a little of a salad for the day, it can be a mountain of food. While I was eating I just wanted to give up and stop because the idea of food was just completely repulsing me, but I fought through those bad thoughts and finished it all; then I came home and (was sort of forced, I really didn't want more food, but I couldn't deny the birthday girl) had another bite or two of cake.
I don't know, I just thought I should share a good day, rather than just the bad ones. Hope everyone else has a lovely day!

Hey Toni,
I'm so extremely proud of you for fighting and having a great day! You are so inspirational. <3
I had a pretty good day today too. Managed to fight through those bad thoughts, even though I did binge, I didn't purge.
Thank you, again, for your inspiration.
Stay strong hun <3

Today was a really bad food day. I decided for a minute that I wanted to give up. I ripped apart my recovery journal.
I am starting a brand new one tomorrow. I have to take this step by step. Although I didn't want to, I ate all three meals today. It's just struggling with the feelings, I guess.

I had a bite of cake today with out feeling too guilty, and I have gone two days without using all the apps on my phone to track everything that I eat.

Today was pretty great, I managed to eat some breakfast, a more normal sized dinner, and a little bit of ice cream. I also haven't tracked my food for today.
Hope everyone else is doing great!

From day one I talked about getting out
But not forgetting about

Until we all just get old and die

I just realized that it has been about two weeks since I last purged.

Went food shopping with my best friend for a sleepover we're having tomorrow with the rest of the group. She helped me through it, and I picked some foods I'm going to eat, even though there's going to be people. I mean, no one is really watching anyway, right
