We know what the problem is, it's lack of communication from above us both. So, you don't get to be mad because you think I was told something I wasn't which throws off your whole fucking day. Nope, just assume no one tells me a damn thing, and act accordingly.

And why are my ideas never taken and my methods (that are valid and have worked for almost 3 years), suddenly changed because you said so?! If you actually want our input, you actually have to CONSIDER it. Especially when some of us have more industry experience than you do! But, I'm not leadership material, so what the fuck do I know!

I hate that you get away with doing whatever the fuck you want. This isn't YOUR company, it has rules, you are the manager and expected to be THE role model of those rules. Not just do whatever you want, contradict everything every chance you get, and make exceptions for people because you know you'll get away with it!

You planned her first independent close when NONE of you are available in case something happens, and even I know she's not ready. It would be a case of "Do your own job and keep your mouth shut" except I'll be the one who deals with the consequences and picks up any slack. I'm half expecting her to back out, and if she does, one of YOU had better pick it up, and NOT make M do it. You're on the verge of losing her already. And if I DO end up basically running things, I'd better get praise and not punishment for not "staying in my lane" or you'll lose me too. And we ALL know you can't afford that.

You are seconds away from losing me to resentment, or having me call your boss. 18 months of bullshit excuses and I've had enough. I should've considered the position I didn't really want. Because having it would be better than what I'm putting up with now; and I'm so much better equipped to do the job than the person you hired, and didn't train who has no fucking idea what she's doing.

You can't afford to lose me, so you should make me happy, if 18 months isn't patience (and A LOT more than most people would give you) then I don't know what is.

The only reason I should be nervous is that I've never done this before. I put it off as long as I could, but it's time.

I know it was 100% the right thing to do, he got back to me, is aware now, and gave me what I asked for. So, why is my anxiety still through the fucking roof?! After working 6 in a row, I needed 2 days off, and I've spent them upset; at least now, I know what to do.

I don't know why I bother thinking I'm capable of anything more than I currently do. No matter what area of life it's in, I fail, EVERY TIME I should really just stop believing in myself all together. It just gets my hopes up, and then they get crushed.
