So I feel really awkward asking this but I remember seeing somewhere that you can miss periods due to stress. Is that true? If so, then can it cause you to skip months? I had my period for two months after I had sex in March until May, but ever since then I haven't had anything. I was under a lot of stress for a long time but recently I've been really happy and a lot less stressed but I still haven't had a period and I'm kinda worried.
This is exactly true - many things which induce hormonal anomalies (including stress) can cause your period to change, or just not happen at all.
At this stage, I shouldn't be too worried, although you can always take a pregnancy test if that's what you're worried about, and it will clear up any ambiguity.
If you continue to be worried, you can visit your GP too, but it's most likely to be something that you don't need to panic over.
Alright, thank you! I don't think I'm pregnant, I haven't had any morning sickness and my belly isn't big at all, I've actually been losing weight so I doubt I am but the thought did cross my mind and I started worrying.
