Friend - August 24th 2012, 11:23 PM

Quick question really, is it ok to call an ambulance if you suspect a friend is going to commit suicide? I have a friend who has a planned date she wants to kill herself.. so I was wondering, if it's a serious suicide thought, could I call them?

Hey,

Well it is ofcourse better then letting your friend endanger himself.
Have you tried really convincing your friend not do it?
If so and your friend really looks serious about it, call that ambulance or tell your friend's parents or legal gaurdians. Your friend might hate you for it but probably he/she will thank you in the end.
Thats all i can give for advice, I must say i have never been in such a situation myself. Only on the other side if you know what i'm saying.

Good luck!

She seems pretty set on it although, she says "I hope something will change my mind" Which really tells me she's unsure, so there's hope. Thank you.
