Hey folke's not had a good old rant in a while
Well, My depression is getting on top of me abit..i can offically say im really struggling, i don't want too be in the house, when i do i feel cagey, irritated.
I just need too be alone
Im struggeling too understand, "will i ever feel happy" ahh man, sorry guys.

Heyy,

No need to apologize! Yes you will eventually be happy. Happiness though is a choice and it takes work to be happy. You have to try and do things that make you happy everyday before you can receive happiness. If you feel the depression coming on then try doing something that you enjoy to keep your mind off of those feelings. If you want out of the house when you get depressed just go for a walk or something! Things will work out! Keep hanging in there and I'm always here if you would like to talk <3

Hey Paddy!

As Cassie said, there is absolutely no need to apologise! We all need a good old rant, someone to listen and perhaps some advice at some time or another. Actually, I think that it's much better that you have posted this than not, because at least it's attempting to get something out of your system, right?

I'm sorry that you feel as though your depression is overwhelming you, Paddy. I know that it's a really awful feeling and it may feel as though it's not going to change, but trust me, it really can change. Depression is very treatable and so you don't have to feel like this forever. Are you getting any help with your depression?

I realise that it may feel as though you need to be alone or that you want to stay in the house all day Paddy, but "negative behaviour reinforces negative thoughts" - you've got to try and keep yourself distracted, as hard as that is. Do you like going for walks? Playing football? Going to the cinema? Try and think of something that you enjoy doing and try doing that - even if it is doing something indoors first, then venturing out of the house. I know it seems like such an effort right now, but it is worth it.

You can have your alone time, everyone needs some alone time really, but you should try and keep socialising and talking to people however bad you may feel. Could you try and talk to a friend or parent about this? We're always here too, feel free to VM/PM me if you want. You will feel happy again Paddy, keep telling yourself that, okay?

You don't have to apologize, Paddy. Once again, (I said this somewhere else on this site too), try the whole taking a walk next to a big pond/lake idea. There's so much solace and soothing-ness there, and it helps me when I'm down.

Sephanie - Thank you for the advicee & for listen, it makes me smile when i know people are listen and do care.
Well i lov walking, like toz said; by a river, lake..pond, be it water!
but i do love the quitness of the place so i should take a few more walks when im down, gets you fit and clears your thoughts ay

Toz - Yeah, Walking is lovley and i do from time to time take a walk (which i should do more often tbh)

I take many walks along there too "think" Very peacefull.
Any walk in which you specificly like?
